Xtep gets H1 boost
Chinese sportswear brand Xtep recently reported a 12% rise in its revenues to around $638 million or ¥4.14 billion during the first half of the year (H1), including a 16% increase in footwear sales to roughly $400 million (¥2.6 billion).
Regarding the apparel segment, revenues rose by more than 8% to almost $225 million (approximately ¥1.5 billion), whereas accessories declined 8% to $12.2 million (¥79.2 million).
The activewear company said that its operating profits were boosted by nearly 37% to around $105.6 million or ¥684 million.
As of the end of June, the total number of Xtep branded stores worldwide amounted to 6,015, with the majority located in mainland China.
