Kornit technology to help scale Flyeralarm
Israel-headquartered textiles technology provider Kornit Digital recently joined hands with Germany-based e-commerce company Flyeralarm, which it described as one of the leading online print providers in Europe.

In short, Flyeralarm’s sports subsidiary has harnessed Kornit’s Avalanche Poly Pro direct-to-garment printing technology (which is specifically geared towards polyester and poly-blend materials) to boost its on-demand design and functionality capabilities for sportswear.

End-to-end digitisation is the goal, the two companies said.

Brand manager at Flyeralarm, Martin Fiedler, commented that his company was “thoroughly impressed” with Kornit’s offering, particularly the versatility, durability and quality of photorealistic colours its technology can produce, ultimately delivering scalable personalisation “without compromise”.

Kornit’s European managing director, Chris Govier, in turn praised the German sportswear enterprise’s commitment to a digitised, on-demand value chain that “eliminates” inventory waste.

Mr Govier added that, in his view, Kornit is the “only” single-step production system currently available that is capable of offering the graphic, versatility and speed benefits of digital print for the sportswear and athleisure markets.
