Swiss chemicals group Archroma recently announced a global price increase for all products, effective from October 1.

The company put its own rising prices down to the knock-on effect of ongoing freight and logistics cost increases across the globe.

Chief operating officer, Marcos Furrer, commented that Archroma had made “every effort” to absorb the adjustments itself, but the organisation had “reached a point” where they were deemed necessary to maintain service levels.

The group recently launched The Safe Edge, an online platform intended to provide product-related regulatory and compliance certificates and information.
