Cifra boosts green commitment
Italian warp knitting specialist Cifra is launching an ‘Ecosustainable’ collection which will showcase garments made from recycled yarns such as Econyl, Renycle and Qnova.

Econyl yarn is a 100% regenerated nylon 6 yarn from pre and post-consumer waste such as fishing nets and carpet.

Renycle by RadiciGroup is obtained from nylon 6 pre-consumer recycling, and has strength, dyeability, softness and versatility.

Q-Nova by Fulgar is a recycled pre-consumer nylon 6.6 fibre, obtained from waste materials from the company's main production cycle.

The collection also includes Tencel Lyocell, a fibre from eucalyptus and beech pulp, as well as merino wool.

Cifra has significantly reduced its CO2 emissions in recent years thanks to investments in renewable electricity. Around 30% of its production comes from eco-sustainable, natural and recycled yarns.
