CLASS takes 'responsible' materials on global tour
Italian sustainable materials hub CLASS has taken its latest textiles collection on a tour of design centres and exhibitions, with a view of introducing designers and brands to “responsible” materials.

Co-organised by fashion consultant Orietta Pelizzari and leather show Lineapelle, A New Point of Materials by Lineapelle helps visitors to “learn about the genuinely green journey of leather, textile materials and technologies”.

Exhibitors include BeyondPlastics CS by ACBC, Edmos by Gled, Marm\More by Fili Pari, Bio-Veg by Coronet, Evrnu by Nucycl, waste-to-wear technologies by Circular Systems, Nyguard, Viridis by Panama Trimmings, X22 by X-Plating and Pett Felt & Rewooly Felt by Lanificio Bigagli.

After Lineapelle in Milan, the collection travelled to Los Angeles and featured in The Campus, The Art Center College of Design and several design studios. It has now moved Stockholm, where it is being viewed by Swedish brands.

CLASS founder Giusy Bettoni said: “We want to bring all these ground-breaking technologies to as many people as possible on an international level as sustainability needs knowledge to grow.”

The exhibition will head to New York in July.
