Mystery Ranch teases 100% recycled packs
Montana pack brand Mystery Ranch has debuted its reimagined Coulee series, woven completely from fibre producer Hyosung’s 100% recycled Mipan regen nylon, a high tenacity robic material.
The line has been designed with both day hikers and backpackers in mind and will be released in time for spring 2023.
Having previously worked together on the design for Mystery Ranch’s Scree packs, plus earlier editions of the Coulee line, the newly 100% recycled packs mark a new milestone in the two companies’ journey together.
“We are proud of our long-lasting partnership [with Mystery Ranch] in the development of its long-lasting packs over the years,” commented Hyosung’s global marketing director, Mike Simko. “We are grateful that the team has selected our high-performance Mipan regen robic to help them create a sustainable pack series made with 100% recycled materials.”
The Coulee 20 and 30 models have been made to be more lightweight, whereas the 40 and 50 each offer “just the right amount of space” for activities considered more challenging in nature or which require more equipment.
