Dates of European Outdoor Summit announced
Industry representative body the European Outdoor Group’s executive-level conference, the European Outdoor Summit, will take place between October 6 and 7 in Annecy, France.
The theme for 2022 is Finding Balance and Success Within Disorder.
Though primarily intended to facilitate discussion among senior leaders and decision-makers, organisers of the upcoming edition are also keen to involve specialists in the fields of corporate social responsibility and broader sustainability, alongside product managers. This is due to the need to address and adapt business strategies in the post-pandemic context, they said.
Those already announced as speakers include Gore’s global divisional leader for fabrics, Jacques Rene; senior sustainability manager at The North Face, Julian Lings; chief executive at Houdini Sportswear, Eva Karlsson; and Salomon’s director of consumer insight, Yasmin Dufournet.
