Aquafil names chairwoman

Ms Mio is known for her focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility, is a professor at the University of Venice and is also on the board at Banco BPM.
From 2014 to 2022 she was chairwoman of Crédit Agricole FriulAdria, the first Italian woman to do so, and has previously chaired the ESG Reporting Task Force at Accountancy Europe in Brussels.
Aquafil supplies to sportswear and swimwear brands, and uses ghost fishing nets and carpet as a raw material for some of its yarns.
