Board additions for UK’s outdoor association
The UK-based Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) has named additions to its board.

Carly Czuba is marketing director for JD Outdoor, looking after brands including GO Outdoors, Blacks, Millets and Ultimate Outdoors. 

Rob Birrell is the recently appointed managing director of AMG Group, and has stepped up to the board from his former position as vice-chairman of the OIA Development Board. 

He has 20 years of outdoor and fashion industry experience. 

OIA chairman Nick Giles OBE said: “I’m really pleased, as are the whole board, to welcome Carly and Rob to the OIA team. They both bring with them a huge range of experience and knowledge of our sector, and a genuine passion for the outdoor market, and I look forward to working with them in the coming years”.

Stephen Newlands, chairman of AMG Group, and Lee Bagnall, CEO of JD Outdoor, stepped down after several years on the board.
