Vaude expands repairs network
Outdoor brand Vaude is partnering retailer Globetrotter to offer repairs to products at nine locations in Germany, with more locations to be added over the next year.
Custimers can take Vaude products into Globetrotter stores in Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg-Barmbek, Leipzig, Regensburg, Trier and Wiesbaden to extend the life of their clothing.
Complex repairs can be done at the central Globetrotter workshop in Ludwiglust or in the Vaude repair workshop at the company's headquarters.
The service will also be extended through Transa in Switzerland and Bever in the Netherlands.
Jan Lorch, Vaude’s managing director for sales, said: “The cooperation with Globetrotter is a perfect example of how two companies with the same values – innovation, sustainability, and focus on our customers – can do something big together. Together, we will expand the life span of outdoor products and reduce our use of resources.”
