Branwyn introduces merino compression leggings

The POWRspun leggings are made from a heavy-weight 4-way stretch knit that is said to deliver targeted compression in a blend of 76% extra fine Merino, 14% nylon and 10% elastane. The merino wool fibres are superfine 17.5 micron and certified ZQ, OEKO-TEX 100 and RWS. Like all wool products, the fabric is naturally resistant to odours. The leggings are offered in two inseam lengths: 28-inch and a new 25-inch.
“Traditionally, compression means tighter fabrics that trap heat and restrict movement. Our Merino-rich blend works differently. Our proprietary construction naturally creates supportive channels that hug the body while maintaining airflow and flexibility. Merino regulates temperature and resists odour, while nylon and elastane provide just enough reinforcement to enhance durability and recovery,” explained Seyma Çigdem Uygun, a textile engineer and the production and sustainability coordinator for Branwyn.
