Executive appointment at 2XU
Australian performance brand 2XU has announced the appointment of Aaron Brown as its new head of business development for North America. Mr Brown has been working in the sporting goods sector for the past two decades, most recently as head of sales for HydraPak, and before that for Under Armour.
The company was acquired from LVMH-backed L Capital in 2024 by a group of investors led by CEO Harry Markl. Under the new ownership it has been focusing on strengthening its foundations and investing in product innovation.
“North America represents a significant opportunity for 2XU, but our approach is not about growth at any cost. We want to build the market properly — through great product, great partners and an authentic performance proposition,” he commented.
