Q36.5 creates bespoke kit for Tour de France team

The Pinarello – Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will be wearing a limited edition kit specially designed for the Tour de France 2026 which starts in Barcelona on July 4.

The jersey is designed specifically for the extreme heat typical of French July weather conditions. The body-mapped construction combines three different textiles. The front and back are made from an ultra-lightweight mesh fabric to optimise thermoregulation during high-intensity activities. A new aerodynamic fabric with 6 mm ribs is used on the sleeves. Q36.5 has integrated its signature raglan sleeve construction and a power mesh ensuring high breathability is placed at the lower back and rear pockets.

The bib shorts are made from a woven fabric, a format favoured by the Italian high-tech brand since 2013. Its four-zone body-mapped architecture offers targeted comfort, support and temperature regulation. The Q LAB Air chamois pad, specially developed for Q36.5, has a double-layer structure for enhanced comfort and optimal moisture management and includes silver yarns that offer both antibacterial and conductive properties. These can contribute to reducing muscle fatigue, the brand said. The minimalist design avoids seams on the front and delivers a measure of compression to promote the alignment of muscle fibres and stability of the chamois pad when cycling.

The colours of the kit, a tarmac grey and a light blue, were chosen to match those of the Pinarello cycles and to alleviate the thermal stress of a summer race.
