Pangaia Lab drops AeoniQ capsule
The innovation lab of eco-responsible athleisure brand Pangaia is introducing a limited-edition unisex capsule produced in 55 units. The three styles, a hooded jacket, a half-zip overtop and straight-leg trousers, are made from AeoniQ, a next-gen man-made cellulosic fibre that is said to be climate-positive and described as an alternative to fossil fuel-derived synthetics.

The minimalist styles highlight fluidity and structure and were designed and made in London. They are said to be fully recyclable and biodegradable, and were released on October 9.

Produced through a proprietary closed-loop process, AeoniQ is made from renewable feedstocks, including eucalyptus pulp. The company, which is now jointly owned by Portuguese company Altri and Swiss chemicals company HeiQ, is also working on integrating circular resources in its pulp in the future.
