Fulgar Evo featured in ‘plant-based’ activewear
For the launch of its 365 Seamless Activewear collection, lifestyle brand and materials science company Pangaia has confirmed its preference for Evo, Fulgar’s fully biobased nylon yarn which is made from castor bean oil and industrial corn not made for human consumption. The yarn is said to deliver all the properties of conventional polyamide including high wearer comfort, bacteriostatic and quick drying properties.

The fitness collection is available in three shades, black, blue, and pink, and each item also receives an odour-reducing finish derived from peppermint essential oil.

Fulgar marketing manager Daniela Antunes commented: “We are proud that EVO is at the core of such a cutting-edge collection. Fulgar has always invested in research and development to create innovative and responsible materials, and seeing our yarn chosen once again by a brand like Pangaia confirms the positive impact the textile industry can have when sustainability and performance come together.”
