Paka outlines support for Peruvian weavers
Alpaca wool-based clothing brand Paka has published its 2025 Impact Report, revealing it supported 7,600+ alpaquero and weaver families improve the health of 60,000 alpacas through medical treatments and educational workshops.
The year also marked the first full year of the PAKA Foundation, the company’s nonprofit arm that distributes proceeds from its pledge to donate 1% of annual revenue to Peruvian communities.
Through its partnership with the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco, Paka supported more than 300 Quechua women weavers in 2025, helping preserve ancestral textile traditions. Almost every item features a handwoven Inca ID, identifying the woman who made it.
Founder Kris Cody said: “Formalising our Foundation allows us to protect our long-term commitments and create more consistent, measurable impact in the communities that have been part of Paka since day one.”
In 2025, 98% of all fibres were natural, organic and/or recycled, representing more than 146,000kg of material.
