Carvico ‘redefines contemporary performance’ with new references

Italian performance knit maker Carvico will be exhibiting at the Functional Fabric Fair in NYC on July 8 and 9 where it will introduce two new fabrics for activewear and athleisure. Iseo and Denver were developed to address growing demand for versatility and functionality, the company said.

Iseo by Carvico offers two options with one side that is compact, matte and brushed, offering a natural hand, and the other that is smooth and sleek. The brushed side has a “techno-cashmere” aesthetic that makes it ideal for second layers and for spring and fall outdoor activities. It is made from 80% recycled polyamide and 20% elastane and weighs 120 gsm.

Denver by Carvico features the mill’s Wraparound Technology that combines the look and feel of traditional leggings fabrics with the performance of warp-knitting. Its compact and opaque construction avoids the dreaded grin-through effect. Its stretch properties are delivered by Lycra Adaptiv, which offers smart elasticity, dynamic comfort, a body-inclusive fit and long-lasting stability. This fabric is composed of 80% recycled polyamide and 20% elastane and weighs 260 gsm.
