Couture partnership finds novel ways to reuse old clothing
Japanese fashion designer Yuima Nakazato has used a novel non-woven made from leftover clothing for his Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week collection
The designer purchased used garments from Kenya. Epson then applied its dry re-fiberisation process, which resulted in a non-woven fabric that was then digitally printed.
YKK used the non-woven for "concept" zips and said it will "use the insights to meet the diverse needs of customers in the luxury sector”.
