New references in Repreve performance portfolio
Unifi, the maker of Repreve recycled polyester, is heading to Performance Days with two new technical yarns. Cofira is described as a versatile yarn as it combines the aesthetics of spun yarns with the performance of filament yarns. The second new development on show in Munich is Resist2O Pro, an improved version of the company’s water repellency enhancing yarns. Fabrics made from this hydrophobic yarn will have minimal water absorption and will not need traditional topical DWR finishes.
“Engineered with recycled materials, these high-performance tech yarns are both versatile and sustainable,” commented Unifi CEO Eddie Ingle.
These references are available in either virgin polyester, or Repreve recycled bottle flake or T2T polyester.
