Adidas ups the ante with new Climachill collection
Adidas has used an innovative material which features titanium and 3-D cooling aluminium, Climachill, in its latest apparel line.

Aluminium zones are placed in the warmest parts of the body and cool the skin when touched, providing up to 36% more cooling performance than the company’s Climacool textiles.

The collection has been tested in a climate chamber at temperatures up to 50 degrees Celcius.

David Beckham, Climachill ambassador, said: "In my playing days I've played both in cold weather in the north of England as well as at high heat in the US. The weather can really have a significant impact on the performance of an athlete. Thanks to the technology, athletes can focus on their competition and bring best performance even in difficult weather conditions. "

Climachill will be available in men’s and women’s collections from April 1.
