A Taiwanese textile manufacturer with a base in Cambodia has cemented its commitment to the country by becoming the second company to list on its stock exchange.

Grand Twins, which supplies to Adidas, Reebok and Salomon, said it chose to float on The Cambodia Securities Exchange because the “textile industry is an anchor of Cambodia's economy”, a manager told Reuters. “Taiwan is more for electronics companies going for listing," he said.

Grand Twins International, which employs about 5,700 workers, reported $54.9 million in revenue in 2012 and is expected to raise $19.3 million.

The only other company listed in the country is Phnom Penh Water Supply.
