Speakers announced for Textile Institute’s World Conference

Organisers of the Textile Institute’s World Conference taking place in China in November have announced the keynote speakers, including Nathan Sivagananathan, chief growth officer at MAS Holdings in Sri Lanka, a supplier to Lululemon and Nike.

Eamonn Brady, the sales director in China for Belgium-based machinery maker Picanol, joins Professor Ron Postle from the University of New South Wales in Australia. Pro Postle has published over 400 papers and supervised 70 PhD graduates in textile physics and engineering and specialises in the structural mechanics of fibres, apparel and technical textile materials. 

They will be joined by Qiu Yafu, chairman of the Shandong Ruyi Group, one of the top 10 textile and clothing enterprises in China and owner of the largest cotton farm in Australia, the Cubbie Station.

Sun Ruizhe from the China National Textile and Apparel Council and Professor Yu Jianyon from Chinese Engineering Acadamy complete the line-up.

The conference will take place in Wuhan, China, November 2 to 6.
