Another 10% increase for Lululemon
Canadian yogawear company Lululemon has reported a 10% rise in revenue for the third quarter to $419.4 million.
Sales have reflected around a similar increase over 2013 for the previous two quarters, but are compared with a turbulent year which saw the recall of 17% of women's pant and the departure of chief product officer Sheree Waterson and former CEO Christine Day.
Current CEO Laurent Potdevin warned that 2014 would be ‘transitional’ but said he is pleased with the latest figures.
"I am confident that our strong team, coupled with strategic investments into our core business areas, have already made a positive impact and place us on a strong trajectory for further global growth,” he said.
Gross profit for the third quarter, which ended on November 2, increased 3% to $211.1 million.
