Former Nike exec heads to Lululemon to build ‘brand’

Canadian yogawear company Lululemon has hired a former at Nike and Easton Sports executive as its vice-president of community and brand to build a “differentiated brand and community experience”.

Duke Stump will report to CEO Laurent Potdevin who said the hire will “deepen connection with our guests” (customers).

After the sportswear companies, in 2006, Mr Stump moved to Seventh Generation as chief marketing officer and 2008 became principal at The Northstar Manifesto, a company that emphasises the role "business conscience" can play in driving growth.
