A contingent of Brazilian textile and apparel companies are hosting an exhibition at their embassy in Paris this weekend as part of Paris Fashion Week, with the aim of promoting the south American country as a fashion destination.

The Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers (ABEST) and the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) will launch the book Bloom, alongside Brazilian brands including Cecilia Prado, Serpui, Patricia Bonaldi and Pedro Lourenço.

“This is a great opportunity to present to a very select public the best of Brazilian fashion, design and culture. The Bloom project has a great connection with the Brasil Beyond concept showing a country that is unique,” said Isabel Fontoura, from export agency Apex-Brasil.

On September 26, fashion industry professionals will attend a cocktail party to meet Brazilian designers. On September 27 and 28, the exhibition will be opened to the public.
