Growing Osprey streamlines distribution chain

The new warehouse “allows for improved supply chain efficiencies” because of its proximity to the national rail network and addresses the space constraints Osprey has faced using several smaller facilities in Cortez.
The plan also includes the expansion of Osprey’s Colorado headquarters to allow for continued growth of the team.
“This single-roof distribution model will enable Osprey to better serve our partners as well as streamline most logistics processes,” said David Dunn, operations director of Osprey Packs.
The new distribution centre is set to open with up to 20 Osprey team members, many of whom will be relocating from Colorado and some of whom will be new hires in Utah. Those whose jobs are impacted will receive financial support, the option of a relocation package or new roles in the expanding Colorado headquarters.
