Osprey’s pack fitting app reaches 10,000 downloads
An app launched by backpack brand Osprey which uses body measurements to recommend products has had more than 10,000 downloads, highlighting the thirst from outdoor consumers for industry-specific technology.
The company claims it is “the world’s first digital pack fitting tool” and it has been recognised in ISPO 2015’s mobile App category.
Using the phone’s camera, PackSizer will measure and match torso size and gender to pack size. It includes video tutorials, and is available in English, German and French.
