“Innovative products” boost Puma growth

Sportswear manufacturer achieved revenue of €994.1 million in the third quarter of 2016, an increase of 10.8% on the same period last year.

Puma’s parent company, luxury group Kering, said the brand is taking advantage of “innovative products and renewed appeal” to boost its sales.

It added that footwear “performed particularly well”, with a 17% increase in revenue. This compared to 10% growth in sales of apparel.

Puma achieved double-digit growth across all geographic regions, except Japan. Kering highlighted especially strong performance in the Europe and the Americas, as well as “sustained expansion” in China.
