Nike to supply England football team until 2030

Sportswear manufacturer Nike has announced the extension of its kit deal with the English Football Association (FA). UK media reports say the 12-year deal is worth more than £400 million.

The new agreement will see the brand design and supply apparel for all England teams until 2030. It comes into effect in August 2018, when the previous deal was due to expire.

The chief executive of the FA, Martin Glenn, said it would allow the organisation to “invest even more into the game and make football available for all”.

"We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Nike until 2030,” added Mark Bulllingham, FA Group commercial and marketing director. “As well as supplying all of our England teams with state-of-the-art apparel, Nike is a huge supporter of our technical division’s work and of grassroots football across the country.”

Trevor Edwards, president of the Nike Brand, said: "The extension of our partnership with The FA is great news for Nike Football and will see us continue to support English football at every level.”
