New Vietnamese production plant for FENC

Textile manufacturer Far Eastern New Century (FENC) has officially opened a new production facility in Vietnam, where the focus will be on knitted fabrics.

The company said the plant is expected to produce 6,000 tonnes of knitted fabric in 2017. Operations are expected to begin in the first half of the year. 

The facility forms part of FENC’s plan to invest $760 million in Vietnam over the next three years.
The group has manufacturing operations in 10 countries, including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
