Skechers unveils new range of athleisure shoes for women

US footwear brand Skechers has launched a new athleisure collection designed for women on the go.
Skechers has said the range, called ‘YOU by Skechers’, is designed for “the young woman who wants to go from the office to the yoga studio to dinner in comfort and style.”

Kathy Kartalis, senior vice president of global product at Skechers, described the range as “an exciting crossover between our lifestyle lines and performance”. She added that the shoes will feature technologies and innovations from the brand’s performance division. 

“We’ve seen an explosion in the desire for lightweight wellness footwear in the athleisure marketplace,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “YOU by Skechers gives us the perfect opportunity to fuse the best aspects of both our performance and lifestyle experience to meet that need.”
