Skechers shoes to adorn feet of leading female golfers

The biennial tournament brings together some of the world’s best female golfers. It pits against each other teams of leading players from Europe and the United States. The last edition, which took place in 2017 in Iowa, was won by the US team.
This year, the European team will wear a special Solheim Cup version of the Skechers Go Golf Pro 2 shoe. Caddies, coaches and officials will also wear the brand’s footwear.
Catriona Matthew, who will captain the team, stressed how important it is that the shoes the players wear are comfortable, especially given that individuals could play as many as five rounds of golf in three days. She added that they must also be able to perform in all conditions.
