Itsgreatoutthere appoints first campaign ambassador

Mr Humphreys is an adventurer, author and motivational speaker who is best known for the #microadventures initiative.
He will support the campaign during his public appearances, and through his own online and social media channels.
The It’s Great Out There Coalition is a non-profit association, registered in Brussels and set up by the European Outdoor Group to inspire more people to get active in the outdoors.
Andrew Denton, secretary general of the coalition, said: “Alastair is a hugely inspirational figure and he represents exactly what #itsgreatoutthere is all about.
“In everything that he does, Alastair educates, entertains and encourages in equal measure, and we are absolutely delighted that he will be helping us to spread the word to millions of people around Europe.”
