Preparations continue for first Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show

The combined show was created after Emerald Expositions, which organises the Outdoor Retailer exhibitions, purchased the Snow Show from SnowSports Industries America (SIA). Denver was unveiled as the host city for the event in July.
The exhibition itself will be followed by a two-day On Snow Demo at nearby Copper Mountain. It is organised by SIA and the Western Winter Sports Representative Association (WWSRA).
“This is a new show and the first time in nearly 30 years that the outdoor and snow sports industries will be together under one roof, explained Marisa Nicholson, vice president and show director for Outdoor Retailer. “Retailers on both sides now have access to the entire spectrum of winter products. Brands and reps benefit from having all their retailers in one place. They can showcase their entire product lines and talk about bigger-picture plans and programs.”
A first look at the exhibitor list is available here. It will be updated daily in the coming weeks. Ms Nicholson said the organisers hope to release a full floor plan in early November.
