Applied DNA technology added to Material ConneXion library

Applied DNA Sciences (APDN), a provider of DNA-based product authentication solutions, is celebrating after its SigNature molecular tagging technology was inducted into the Material ConneXion library.

The prestigious library contains a wide range of innovative materials. It is designed to help designers find a “competitive edge” through the materials they use. 

An example of Applied DNA’s technology will be on display at Material Connexion libraries across the world, including in New York, Shanghai, Istanbul, Milan and Seoul, as well being available through its online directory database. 

“Our inclusion in the library is a testament to our success to date in purifying the cotton supply chain and reflects the growing strategic role that technologies such as ours are establishing with supply chain participants to power their sustainability and consumer assurance goals,” said Dr James Hayward, president and CEO of Applied DNA.
