Change of leadership for New Balance

He has led New Balance for 12 years. During that time, the company’s revenue has grown from $1.5 billion to $4.2 billion. Its international sales have expanded from 30% to 65% of its revenue under his leadership.
His replacement will be Joe Preston, who has been at New Balance for more than 20 years. Since joining in 1995 as senior product manager for running and custom products, he has occupied a number of roles, including executive vice president of international operations and head of the brand’s global product, R&D and sports marketing team. He is currently chief commercial officer.
