EOG secures more support for its Sustainability Charter
06/02/2019
Launched in 2016, the charter sets out an understanding of good corporate citizenship and responsibility, and articulates stages on a journey towards best practice.
Four new national associations have now confirmed their backing for the charter. They are the Polish Outdoor Group (POG), the Dutch sporting goods industry association FGHS, Spanish sport association AFYDAD, and the Russian Outdoor Group (ROG).
The Scandinavian Outdoor Group had already signed the charter and now all of its individual members have also signed.
Arne Strate, EOG General Secretary, said: “The EOG Sustainability Charter is a core pillar of the work that we are doing on behalf of our members and the wider industry. The fact that the vast majority of EOG members have now agreed to support the charter highlights our sector’s determination to lead in this area, for its own sake and for society as a whole.”
