EOG Sustainability Charter “gaining excellent momentum”

14/06/2018
The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has announced two more national associations, France-based Outdoor Sports Valley (OSV) and the UK’s Outdoor Industries Association (OIA), have pledged to adopt its Sustainability Charter.

The charter was launched in 2016. Companies and other organisations that sign up to it do so in support of the EOG’s work in sustainability. They also agree to align themselves to a shared agenda and commit to pursuing a mote sustainable future.

EOG corporate social responsibility and sustainability manager, Pamela Ravasio, said: “The support of the Outdoor Industries Association and Outdoor Sports Valley is a clear sign that the Sustainability Charter is gaining excellent momentum across Europe.  We welcome the support of both associations and will work closely with them to help their members follow the steps towards a more sustainable future for the sector that are outlined in the charter.”
