Innovation award for Tintex

Fabric maker and finisher Tintex has been selected for an innovation award by the Portuguese Institute for Innovation for Small and Medium Enterprises (IAPMEI).

The Porto-based company held an open day for judges, textile leaders and media to showcase its working practices.  

José Marques dos Santos, president of IAPMEI, said: “We selected Tintex to underline the importance of digitisation and modernisation at different levels in the textile industry.”

Tintex is as part of the Make Fashion Circular initiative by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which promotes sustainable values to fashion and sportwear markets through responsible supply chains.
