Nike: Returned shoes cleaned up and knocked down

If shoes are returned within 60 days, Nike Refurbished will clean and refurbish shoes by hand, and then given a condition grade. The price is based on footwear type and condition.
It will also sell ‘cosmetically flawed’ shoes – ones with slight manufacturing faults.
Shoes that are too worn will be donated to a community partner or recycled into Nike Grind.
As the name suggests, Nike Grind grinds down manufacturing waste, end-of-life shoes and unused materials to make tracks, turf fields, indoor basketball courts and flooring for playgrounds.
Nike Refurbished will initially be available in 15 US stores but will then be expanded.
