Schoeller CEO heads for calmer waters
The CEO of Swiss textile and technology company Schoeller is retiring after 10 years and is being replaced by chief operating officer Joachim Kath.

Siegfried Winkelbeiner, who steered the group into previously untapped sectors, said he had wished to create an environment in which staff could thrive.

He added: “Throughout the years, we have compared Schoeller to a ship under sail and have had to weather many a stormy challenge.”

Joachim Kath, who has a background in the chemicals industry, has been preparing to take over for 18 months.
