These preferred attributes include bluesign fabric or product; Fair Trade Certified ; recycled or organic content; Responsible Down or Wool Standard; EcoBlack PrimaLoft; hemp, Tencel Lyocell or Modal; and PFAS-free durable water repellents.
Rachel Lincoln, prAna’s director of sustainability and social responsibility, said: “This achievement creates a new baseline for our products and supports our aspirational sustainability goals in both preferred fibres and Fair Trade.”
Sustainability accomplishments have included 100% organic cotton in 2018 and 100% plastic-free packaging last year.
PrAna’s best-selling original Stretch Zion styles are now constructed with recycled nylon ReZion for Spring/Summer 2022. It took three years to develop ReZion, an advanced fabric that is sustainable and capable of standing up to durability, UPF, water-repellency and drying needs.
