AeoniQ pilot plant is operational

Materials innovation specialist HeiQ has confirmed that a pilot plant for its renewable materials-based cellulosic yarn AeoniQ is up and running.

HeiQ said the plant, in Herzogenburg in Austria, became operational at the end of the second quarter of 2022.

In mid-August, it hosted a visit to the plant from senior representatives of Hugo Boss and The Lycra Company, the two companies that HeiQ has brought on board as strategic investors for AeoniQ.
