Reebok hires O'Neal to lead push into basketball

The appointment of the newly created position comes on the heels of Reebok’s announcement earlier this month that it planned to refocus on team sports and basketball.
Reebok first worked with Shaquille ahead of his rookie season in 1992, introducing its first signature shoe, the Shaq Attaq.
Todd Krinsky, Reebok CEO, said: “With the combination of his deep-rooted history with Reebok and reigning influence he’s made on the game, there is no one better to take the helm and lead our brand back to reclaiming its rightful place and dominance in basketball.”
Reebok was bought by Authentic Brands in 2022. Mr O’Neal is an Authentic shareholder.
