Technology company Xeros has announced China-based appliance manufacturer Donlim Group will manufacture its XF3 External Microfibre Filter.

The XF3 offers a “ plug-and-play” solution for domestic washing machines, capturing 99% of harmful microplastics, according to Xeros.

Xeros said: “This collaboration marks a significant step towards a greener, cleaner future for laundry care and beyond.”

The companies will work together on new products that enhance sustainability, conserve water and protect ecosystems, it added.
