Thai Acrylic Fibre, a division of Indian group Aditya Birla, has chosen the traceability solution developed by FibreTrace for its recycled acrylic fibre Regel. First launched in 2022, Regel is made from a mix of 50% recycled waste and 50% virgin polymer. It will now carry FibreTrace’s luminescent pigment that allows a yarn to be monitored throughout the supply chain.

“By integrating the FibreTrace technology into our Regel recycled fibre, we are providing our customers with an unparalleled level of trust and accountability across the entire supply chain, which we believe is essential for the future of the textile industry,” commented Tuhin Kulshreshtha, VP of Business Development for Thai Acrylic Fibre.
