Rudolf predicts growth in digital printing
Interest in digital printing is growing, with its reduced water usage and added flexibility, according to chemicals supplier Rudolf.
The German company has launched a Digital Pigment Printing Toolbox – a series of pre-treatments that aim to improve rub fastness, intensify colours and soften the feel of textiles.
The “toolbox” is based on a core product, Roco Print PXS, which can be combined with other products in a single bath.
They are free from formaldehyde and butanone oxime, while core product and some combination products are free of blocking agents.
Dr Christoph Hauser, product developer at Rudolf, said: “Our goal is to take digital print to the next level – making it more efficient, environmentally friendly and optimisable for a wide range of customer requirements.”
