Rudolf boosts transparency with carbon footprint data
Chemicals company Rudolf has received one of the first Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) programme certifications from TÜV SÜD, based on the PACT Methodology, which it can share with customers to help them calculate the impact of their products.
It said the data can guide design-stage decisions, helping identify opportunities early in the development process.
The Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT), hosted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, has been co-developed with more than 100 multinational companies, and enables PCF data sharing.
Fabian Walda (pictured), head of sustainability at Rudolf, said: “The certification gives our R&D and our partners reliable insights that help us make better decisions, focus on what is truly impactful, and move forward step by step with ambition and pragmatism.”
