First Textiles Recycling Expo planned for 2025
Taking place at the Brussels Expo on June 4 and 5, 2025, the first edition of the Textiles Recycling Expo is being launched by AMI. The Bristol-based company organises trade events for various recycling markets, and specifically the Plastics Recycling World Expos held in Europe, the United States and India.

The free-to-attend event is designed to “foster collaboration and spark innovation” in the world of textile recycling. AMI seeks to attract companies operating at all levels of the textile waste supply chain including sorting, shredding and recycling technologies.

Companies that have already signed up include leading names such as Valvan, Andrizt, Erema, Dell’Orco & Villani as well as Carbios, Syre, Mapea, Circle-8 Textile Ecosystems and Reverse Resources.

ReHubs, a Euratex organisation dedicated to the scaling up of collecting, sorting, processing and recycling of textile waste in Europe, is one of the event’s strategic partners along with EuRIC, Fedustria and UK-based Textile Recycling Assocation.

“The reaction from across the industry has been extremely positive and supportive,” commented the show’s sales manager Zied Chetoui.
