Hunting brand Kuiu has chosen to use Noble Biomaterials’ latest biobased antibacterial solution Ionic+ Botanical. The Dixon, California-based brand was founded in 2011 with a mission to develop advanced layering systems for hunters. Its new Velocity technical base layer features the citric acid-based technology launched by Noble Biomaterials in 2022.

“Our customer knows we have a drive for innovation and performance, which includes fabric materials, and we’re excited to work with Noble to continue to develop high-performing apparel,” commented Kuiu brand manager Micah Sirek.

Noble’s Ionic+ Botanical finish is said to last up to 50 washes, potentially leading to fewer wash cycles and an extended life for the product. The two companies have plans to introduce additional Ionic+ solutions in future seasons with additional durability and performance benefits.
